On striving for success

Not long ago, I used to think that I have to achieve what everyone else in the coaching industry is chasing in order to define myself as ‘successful’

Whether it’d be making x amount of income

Or being able to showcase pictures of you online partaking in exorbitant practices like being on a yacht

While I believe in having an impact and freedom through our creative acts, I quickly realized that so many people in this world

Prioritize only on getting “end outcomes” SO MUCH that it we lose the essence of what makes you YOU

What makes your creation different

What makes your business one-of-a-kind

What makes your art special

We’ve been programmed to arrive to end outcomes— eg make x amount money fast, grow audience fast etc.

So much that we do NOT take time knowing who we really are.

We do not spending time relishing the ways of creating in ways that are unique+authentic+true to you,

And instead you become a carbon-copy like some other coach, some other person who taught you how to get the results fast

In other words, we become slaves to the society’s expectations of success so much that you lose your true essence of your soul

When the truth is, your difference is what allows you to be the greatest in anything you do — May it be Artist. A coach. A writer.

It is what makes you a RARE treasure rather than a commodity that anyone can compete with.

With so many gurus marketing “how to make $$ fast in business” something that I see happening is the industry is a lot of women striving for rapid-fast outcomes they they lose touch with the joy of the process

In terms of content creation, this can look like making every single post/story with the need to hook/grab people’s attention as fast as possible,

Convert as many as possible in the fastest means possible

That every move you make in the business is driven by pressure, force, and tight rigid control,

rather than an overflow of creative imagination, heart-led expression and joy that comes from a place of naturalness

When the truth is, as feminine beings, we are meant to create life (I.e. our creations) from inside-out. Not outside-in.

Meaning, we are meant to create content/art that is centered from the depth of our innermost feelings and truth

rather than the sole exertion of the mind in order to do/perform/achieve things as fast as possible, as quick as possible

Which is why things like creative burnout, constant overwhelm,

and feeling discontented commonly happen among entrepreneurs

No matter how good of marketing strategies you learn,

And no matter how much you earn.

The energy of “trying to achieve” is usually the thing that stops you from receiving what you 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 want

In business, it can look like like trying to achieve million dollar goals, only to find out later that the business does not align with your values of living an inwardly peaceful life

In relationships, it can look like trying to earn the love of a man, only to find out later that he doesn’t like you for who you are, but only for how you look

In both scenarios, striving hard to get somewhere only makes you blindsighted on what you actually desire

Because we are frantically chasing for ‘the next goal,’ ‘the next milestone,’ we are only in the head and not in our heart

Trying hard to figure out what we “should” do to get what we want,

Which makes us lose touch with the gentle quiet voice of our souls

That guides you toward what you most want and have always wanted

In a way that feels like home.
