Inner Peace Quotes If You Feel Burnt out, Lost, or Unfulfilled

If you’ve been feeling exhausted by life, like no matter how much you achieve/earn/ “improve” yourself, it’s never enough, you’re not alone. So many sensitive, purpose-led women I have worked with over the years, have felt deep exhaustion– not just a physical, but a spiritual, emotional one, and this is one of the top signs if you’re craving more peace.

And the good news is, having inner peace isn’t something complicated. We usually think that peace is only on the other side of a fancy vacation, a dream home, a dream marriage, but this way of thinking only keeps you more exhausted– because now, you have to go out there to “earn” it instead of receiving…

When the truth is, peace begins here. It begins with you. It begins from your body, your breath, your truth, your soul– YOU. Unless peace begins from you, what you try to reach “out there” will feel impossible, unsustainable, hard to keep up with. And it only keeps you more stuck in the hamster wheel of chasing after things… whether that’d be money, people’s validation, or love… but never fully receiving.

That’s why I put together these inner peace quotes. They’re not just words I’ve read, but truths I’ve personally lived and embodied over the years. From living these truths, it has allowed me to experience peace in every aspect of my life—from career to relationships, and most importantly, within myself.

So look into the area that you find it hard to experience peace around your reality. And let the remembrance of peace blossom in your body…

1. Your Control is Constricting Peace

One of the most common roadblocks I’ve seen to women not having peace in their lives is the mind that tries to control everything. These quotes about inner peace talk about trying to control what you can’t is stopping you from receiving, and experiencing life with peace and equanimity…

  • Notice what you can control and what you can’t. Differentiating the two is the doorway to peace.

  • There is nothing you need to fight against. Peace comes from realizing that all are united in the goal of love.

  • Life cannot exist without death. Summer cannot exist without winter. Peace comes from accepting all as one.

  • There is always something new wanting to be born through you. Peace is in allowing it to unfold instead of clinging to what “should” happen instead.

  • Underneath the control is a little girl fighting to save herself. But peace is in realizing that she is already saved.

  • The more you try to control, the less the Universe can move through you.

2. Peace is Your True Nature

The illusion is in thinking that you earn peace through external achievements and conditions. These quotes about inner peace point you back to how peace is who you are at your core.

  • What you build without peace does not last, because there is more noise, and less of your Self.

  • If your peace depends on the outside world, it will never be steady.

  • Peace is not about what happens to you. Peace is who you are, no matter what happens.

  • Peace is not something you earn. It’s who you already are.

  • Who you truly are cannot be defined. Peace comes from realizing you are infinite, not limited by titles or achievements.

  • You can’t lose what you are

  • To awaken is realizing that both peace and suffering are choices.

  • You are not your thoughts, nor emotions, nor the labels you place on yourself. You are the being that which all arises.

  • Peace is to return to the perfection that’s always existed, but that which you couldn’t see before because of the stories you’ve held.

3. Your relationship with your Self is the key to peace with everything else

If you’re hard on yourself, you’ll always struggle to feel peaceful. These quotes about inner peace remind you that the relationship with yourself shapes everything else.

  • Without peace inside yourself, you cannot have peace with others.

  • When peace is within you, it becomes a steady anchor to hold onto no matter what storms are outside.

  • When you can sit with yourself through any experience, peace becomes your permanent home.

  • Peace is in seeing the perfection of who you are. When you see that in yourself, you naturally see it in others.

  • There is no one to perform for, no one to convince, no one to be understood by. Because all is the one Self, viewing life through different lenses. And peace is what remains when you finally see yourself.

  • Your relationships mirror the places you haven’t found peace within.

  • You can only receive from others what you’ve already given to yourself. And when that gift is peace, that’s when harmony in relationships begin.

4. Peace cannot be chased down

So many women feel burnt out because they’ve been running, striving, and chasing things. These quotes about inner peace invite you to how peace begins when you first slow down to rest in your presence.

  • When you are always trying to be “somebody,” there will be fear of becoming “nobody.” But when you embrace being nobody, you merge with the peace of being every being.

  • Rushing to outcomes only makes you lose sight of the peace that has never left.

  • Feeling tired of chasing goals doesn’t mean you’re lazy. It means your soul is waking up to peace.

  • The obsession with “how” comes from a mind that doesn’t feel safe to trust, to receive, to relax.

  • Peace lives in listening and receiving, not resisting what is.

  • Rest in the peace of your being and the doing will flow naturally.

  • What comes naturally to you will bring peace. What is forced will only lead to struggle and doubt.

5. Peace lives where God is

True peace comes when you see yourself as connected to everything and supported by something greater. These quotes about inner peace point to how peace comes from connecting to God (love).

  • Peace is the fabric that holds all existence, but that which the mind cannot trust.

  • Peace is realizing that life is you. The person you fight with is also you. The sky, the tree, the stranger—they are all you. Suffering begins when we see separation.

  • Peace is seeing you don’t have to carry it all alone. There is a higher power holding all of you.

  • Peace is knowing that all you need arises from within, not from the outside.

  • Peace is realizing that what truly serves you also serve others. Because in truth, there are no conflicting interests.

  • When you free yourself, you experience freedom all around you. When you love yourself, you see love all around you. Peace is in realizing the change you long for starts here.

And finally, as Lewis Howes said “Inner peace is the new rich” because you can have all the nicest cars and the fanciest things in the world, if there is no inner peace, everything you attain lacks meaning and purpose. Which is why it’s important to build your life around the peace that YOU hold, instead of trying to chase it elsewhere. If you desire support around staying in peace building soulful success around it, but otherwise, I’m sending you so much love.
