Why you may be feeling “off” in your marketing

The art of being a 5-star coach is finding out what you are great at and then marketing in a way that accurately represents that.

However, what a lot of people only focus on is the marketing aspect, that you end up overexaggerating or distorting what you are actually great at.

This can lead to either:
- people coming to you for the wrong reasons with false expectations that you end up under-delivering on what they desire

-Or you not being lit up in the work you do because you’re forced to present your gifts in ways you think will sell faster

I learned the importance of all this because I have screwed that up myself in the past

Back when I mistakenly thought that marketing will solve all the problems in my business if I just figured out how to speak in a way that brings in floods of clients

Turns out… it didn’t

And I know that if you’re someone who values integrity and excellence, you will know this feeling of being “off” (i.e. when your marketing is not reflecting your natural genius)

Which is why in the current work I do with my clients, the first and foremost priority is always knowing their soul’s natural genius

Which looks like:
-understanding key factors that makes you different from everyone else

-using your own healing to activate deeper layers of intuitive wisdom

-and unraveling your own voice, your own perspectives, your own frame of thinking etc.

Only after all that, marketing comes in– making a delicious icing on top, reflecting who you actually are.

So you can attract people who are actually a match to what you’re great at.

Cleansing your creative waters

There is already a stack of THICK, rich content material inside of you

I.e. the type of content that nurtures your people and makes them want to know more about your work.

The only thing that stops you from bringing that…

Are the judgements toward what you write

That what you write does not scream off “results”

That what you write does not receive instant validation

That what you write does not look like (what the coach you look up to) writes

Only when you release these judgments

can you really let your inner content writing genius come through…

And of course, at first, the things you write may not be that pretty. May not be that “converting.” May not be that interesting to people… at first

But that’s the only way you can write really good content. Or really to become good at anything.

By first putting out the “bad stuff” first– so you can get to the good part

(It’s like opening up tap water to first clear out the gunk)

The more it flows, the clearer the water can get

To me, that’s where I began. I remember 6 months or so ago when I had 0 clients. (After I took a break from my business to finish off phd)

and felt like my writings were no bueno. I felt like a beginner again. And I had all the judgments in the world toward my own social media posts.

Yet I persisted, to find out months later, clients telling me how much my writings resonate with them and so chose to work with me.

I didn’t follow any formulas. Any templates. It all was my intuition (I.e. my inner content writing genius)

This isn’t to brag but to show you what happens when you are willing to experiment

When you use “failures” as datapoints rather than letting them define who you are

When you quiet your mind and instead let your intuition lead your art

For that’s how you discover your gifts. Your greatness. Including your innate content writing genius.

Chasing to receiving

For the woman who is tired of chasing-

Who has been led to believe that you need to be constantly striving for money/ clients to have your desires met

Who has been sold the illusion that other people have what you don’t have and that you don’t matter unless you try to become like them

Who has been running on a hamster wheel of manifesting “$k months” one after another, only to find yourself unsatisfied again

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐝… 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐘𝐎𝐔…

From realizing the generosity of God’s gifts in you,

And that you 𝒂𝒍𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 have-

Something that brings your utmost value in the lives of your clients

Something that breathes awe & wonder into your own daily life

Something where no one else in this world can do quite the same like you

When you finally realize these gifts, you will no longer be

Competing your pace with others

And wondering why your goals haven’t come to fruition

Because you know what Spirit is creating through you

As in… seeing the exact roadmap of the content/offers/programs you are meant to create in your business & how you are meant to receive

You see how the Divine works…

And so instead of being a desperate “kid” asking the Divine to deliver 𝒇𝒐𝒓 you

You now move as a woman who creates with the Divine acting 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 you

Mantra for my business

The kind of business I’m building is NOT

“If you want to know this secret method buy my program” $£¥%*

Been there. Done that. Used that.

Pretending to be the only holy grail to instant success and overhyping around your offers

Turned out, that only led to people coming with false expectations and lack of understanding about your actual work

Attracting people who don’t even believe in your values but just want to speed-rush to results

Which is why the mantra I use for building my business now is…

To provide immense value in the front-end that people can’t help but be curious to experience your back-end

This is the type of marketing that makes me the most excited,

As I believe that generosity in what you create is what leads to sales

That benefits the most to both you + the customer

Social media is ruining your art

Social media is ruining your art

.

.

If … you have to overhype your posts just get people’s attention and make them want to buy from you

If … you look at how other coaches are selling, making you doubt your own intuitive way of marketing

If … the first thought in your head is “what will people think of me” rather than how it feels good for you to write and serve your audience

And that in turn… ruins your business

Because rather than letting your 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 thoughts, your 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 feelings, your 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 voice to come through,

you end up filtering yourself

which then blocks the truly aligned clients from finding you— I.e. the kind of people you 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 want to serve

The restriction of“need to” in marketing

The marketing rules that say “you need to show up like this in order to…”

Block you from showing up in your most nourishing way in your business

Holding you back from being creatively freed… well expressed… being fulfilled from serving your clients

I used to have a handful of them myself

Beginning with the beliefs that I need to…

-Write like this (x person) in order to have my work sell

-take selfies with every Fb post in order to have people connect with who I am

-hit a certain word length in order to take my posts seriously

-or don’t hit a certain word length or else people would drift off to sleep

-can ’t repeat concepts or else people would leave

On and on…

But what I’ve learned is that

Rules are not laws.

Which means they are not universally true

And so a marketing “rule” that has worked for someone else may not mean the same will work for you.

In fact, you are meant to market in a way that’s different.

In a way that matches your unique individual preference—-

More specifically your own unique way of living, being, feeling.

And when you finally allow yourself to do that,

Your soul will be untethered.

and the confidence you have in your business will become unwavered.

As you restore your natural desire to show up in your marketing

Creating momentum in your business…

Why overthinking happens

The reason why a lot of women get into overthinking and overanalyzing when growing a business is because

The only question is “how can I make lots of money?”

Rather than “how can I be more of service?”

I know this because I totally have been in the former camp before myself.

But what I’ve come to realize is that,

when you open yourself to more service

(whether that’s expanding your ability to hold more clients/ having better quality containers)

You will naturally want to pour your best into your products

At the same time you will naturally want to give value in your marketing

And because money follows quality & value,

You receive money in return,

But it’s not through striving but through devotion to your God-given purpose.

If you are afraid of repeating concepts when writing content

There was a part of me who was afraid of being annoying.

She thought I would be a nuance, if I repeat the same concepts of “soft flowy business” over and over again.

But what I’ve come to own is that for the people who are meant to receive my work,

It would be an even greater pleasure for them to be reminded of the same concepts over and over again

In fact, this is what branding is. Repetition is what creates familiarity. And trust. And sales.

And I had to make this the permanent belief in my head (that repetition is okay)— wayy before clients begin popping into my world

The same in your business:

your creative expressions are not a nuance

Sometimes you may repeat ideas, but then so what?

If people unfollow you for that, they are not your people anyway

And when you own that part of you that just wants to express

Writing whatever message that comes through you to teach your people, speak to your people, bring value to your people

Even if it repeats

Even if it may not please others

Even if some may not “get it”

You become lit up in your dharma

As you no longer hold back

And let your unbridled expressions take care of you and your business

Content creation blocks that held me back

Content creation blocks that held me back in the past (and were thus stopping me from generously serving my audience):

1. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝑰 𝒈𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒃𝒖𝒚 𝒎𝒚 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔

In the coaching world, it can feel like transformation is only reserved for people have paid big investments to be “in your energy”

such is a scarcity belief— I later realized.

Not only that, to soulful, feminine women, this belief that we need to hold back our wisdom to only paid offers can lead a lot of us to feel ‘icky’ and tensed up around sales and marketing.

That’s because when we believe that the purpose of content is *only* to get people into our programs/offers, we then become only focused on proving, convincing, and overhyping.

And so content usually becomes a series of sales pitches, call-to-actions, and clickbaity materials, without much authenticity and value that your audience can dive into.

But what I’ve realized is that it is when I focus on giving— such as sharing aha moments and valuable perspective shifts,

the right people become naturally interested in what I offer.

This looks like DM inquiries of my paid offers and services, even though I haven’t pitched a single paid offer in my Facebook posts for months.

To me, this way of content creation is the most attractive, soulful way of marketing— to lead with “giving” more than “getting.”

2. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝑰 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒏, 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐𝒚 𝒎𝒚 𝒂𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆

yup, the people pleaser in me was afraid of posting too frequently because she did not want to come across as ‘spammy.’

Even during the times when I was overflowing with content ideas, I felt like if I post several posts in the same day, there were times I held back because a part of me was afraid that the greatness/value of my posts would become “diluted.”

What helped me to expressing my heart more frequently here on social media was the realization that creative excitement and overflow is freakin’ magnetic.

To be obsessed with a subject and be able to talk about it frequently and passionately (without forcing yourself on a content regimen), is a life-giving energy that a lot of people desire in their lives.

And posting content from a state of overflow, allows our audience to experience this in their lives as well, through simply witnessing how content is flowing abundantly through us.

Also, the other part was accepting the fact that if there are people who get annoyed by you posting too frequency/too much, they can just “unfollow.”

And it won’t affect how many people come into paid offers because those who get annoyed may not be a good fit for your offers anyway.

Picking a niche as a multi-passionate soul

If you are a multipassionate woman whose interest is constantly changing that you can’t find your “perfect niche” here’s what I would do:

𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

One of the main reasons for your interest (in what you want to create content) changes often because the creative force within you is wanting to come through you through different mediums— due to its burning ‘need’ to be expressed.

This happens especially when you have been holding back your creativity/artistic self for a long time in your life.

I have had this constantly interest-changing phase myself before I began blogging at [creativemysticfairy.com](http://creativemysticfairy.com).

One week my heart would want to talk about ‘fairy fashion’ , another week I would want to talk about fitness/wellness, and another week I would want to talk about lessons learned from my past failures as an entrepreneur. My interests kept changing.

And I learned that it was not because I am a fickle person who can’t stick to a thing (yup, you may have been called that as a flowy, creative person yourself)

but actually it’s because creativity is ‘pushing its door’ to come through you. And it wants to accomplish this mission one way or another.

Your job is simply to allow her. Then as embark on your creative journey, she will then settle and deepen into one main interest (I.e. a niche you’re most excited about).

𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬

Currently I’m head over heels in love with reading fiction books, especially nature-themed Cottagecore books

(and it’s something I held myself back for a long time because I was afraid of being “unproductive” and not getting “any tangible value”).

And what I’ve learned is that this hobby of mine is teaching me so much about business building/ content creation/creativity, in deep and intricate ways, perhaps even more than “educational” non-fiction books. From this hobby, I get infuse lessons from them in my main-content.

And my point is to say that: 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝.

Just because you have a random hobby that’s unrelated to the tangible outcomes that you offer in your business doesn’t mean that it can’t help you in your business.

Creativity is in finding the links between one interest to another and sharing them as valuable insights that will benefit your audience.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥

A lot of the times, when we struggle to pick a niche, that is because we haven’t identified how they can all help toward solving ONE main problem/ ONE core desire in the client you’re wanting to help.

Literally, any two (or more) interests of yours can be connected. Let’s say one of your random interest is dog training and the other is cooking. If so you can combine them into a ‘niche’, such as, making food guides for busy dog moms etc.

I understand that as a multipassionate, being you are, it can sometimes feel hard to follow harsh, masculine-modeled business rubrics that make you feel like you need to box your soul in only one way to create success.

But what I want to tell you is that, your holistic, wholesome, multifaceted self is a GIFT.

For it is 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 your Full self, that can capture the heart of your people the most, meaningfully and soulfully.

Are you following the soul or ego in business?

A test to see whether the business you are building comes from your soul or not is to answer the question:

—-“Would you still be creating the content you create, the art you create, the business you create… even if it never leads to the success and fame you desire?”—-

If the answer is no,

it may be worthwhile questioning whether the business you build is something you plan to do long-term or not

If the answer is yes,

there is something that is bigger than yourself that’s moving you.

It’s an inexplicable force and a palpable calling that is felt by many of the great artists, writers, and innovators that have existed.

And this creative calling is wanting you to take you 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔.

Personally this moving desire is how I feel whenever I share my heart all out in my blogs.

Even if ‘just’ a few hundred or so visitors read each month.

Even if it takes 10 hours writing each post, unlike social media posts where you can just ‘pump out’ in minutes.

I don’t know how the blog would turn out in a few years from now but regardless, it’s a calling where I can’t help but write…

To you, this creative calling may be different.

Yet, if you are someone who wants your business to be 𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒆 than just a machine that makes money,

but rather as a way to fulfill you in all realms (financial, emotional, spiritual etc.),

there is a high chance that your soul wants to move you, lead you, guide you.

The question is: are you letting her do so?

Why fixating only on numbers deplete the feminine in business

When the focus of a business (specifically launching offers) is purely based on numbers, it’s easy to feel anxious and become stressed about how many people eventually sign up

I remember when I felt all those feelings myself– on the surface level of social media, it looked like I was on “high vibe” and was effortlessly in my feminine,

but deep down, I couldn’t stop thinking about who and how the sign ups would happen

In fact, I was so anxious that I was using divination and tarot to “predict the future” and using spirituality as a way to control what happens

But looking back now, what I’ve learned is that:

𝐀𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬… 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

In business, this can look like

trying to control the numbers (e.g. how many people eventually sign up, how much money you will make from this launch),

rather than focusing on how much depth you desire to bring– i.e. how much you would overdeliver and give it all your heart, even if it was just 1 client

It is when we focus on the depth and quality of what you bring out to this world,

rather than the numbers that leads to long term sustainability and success of a business

Instead, when the focus is only on numbers, it leads to frustration and overwhelm,

and in fact can even lead to growing the business in wrong directions

– e.g. creating offers that you think will be popular rather than what you are actually great at etc.

And overtime, all of that purely numerically-focused agendas in business,

therefore sucks away the natural overflow of creativity and gifts within the feminine heart of a business.

On creating a fulfilling way of success

In the old paradigm, success was scarce.

People were hungry to get to ‘mountain top’ and sacrifice everything to get there.

But for those who have tasted the ‘mountain top’ or for those who are well on there way of getting there,

you will realize that it doesn’t make you any happier when the path you have chosen is not what’s most authentic and true to you

(In fact it can even feel emptier as you hustle and rush forth)

In the coaching world, that can look like, selling in ways you think will make you lots of money, only to find yourself feeling icky and hesitant to use the methods

It can also look like following someone’s else exact marketing roadmap, only to find that process not supporting your deeper energetic needs of your body

And what I’ve learned to understand is that what’s always “shiny” doesn’t always mean that it’s meant to be chased

In fact, the ”shiny” things can make us even more blind to the true path that our hearts actually want to tread

For creating success in business that’s fulfilling not just in the outcomes but also in the process.

On building a slow business

In a world that is constantly chasing for rapid speed— from fast food to instant wins in business, it can often feel you are never doing enough and growing fast enough

A lot of people think that this form of constant dissatisfaction is needed to grow, however, if you are a sensitive soul like me, you will feel an overwhelm deep down from all that pressure of needing to be fast all the time…

That’s because when the focus is only on the speed (rather than depth),

It is coming from the pressure of the need to be on par with the ‘Joneses of social media’ due to an underlying fear and shame of being behind compared to them…

Thus, instead of attracting clients through your own natural expression of the heart,

We become pressured to use strategies and tactics that people say are needed for growing fast

And instead of creating space to listen to the Divine between the gaps, we begin to listen to the crowd on social media and care more of what people think of your ‘status’

Which results in a business that appears to be booming on the outside

But is empty on the inside

In contrast to a 𝒔𝒍𝒐𝒘 business

Where growth is a natural extension of your inner fullness.

Healing judgements from others

As a perceptive feminine soul in business, you may be brimming with so many new and exciting ideas (typically ideas that not many are talking about in the coaching industry/your niche), yet you may hold yourself back from saying them due to the fear of judgment.

This is especially true on social media. It is easy for people to misinterpret your message, tear down your creations, or dislike your work altogether.

And what I’ve come to understand, through years and years of sharing my work online is that:

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 (𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔), 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆.

And you don’t want to. Because if you try to please everyone, you end up sacrificing yourself and become noone.

Becoming invisible to people who are actually your people… the people who resonate with you on a soul level… the clients who work with you because there is no one like you with your authentic essence…

And that requires feeling safe to be You.

Feeling safe to express You– your wildest ideas and highest truths even if they may be unpopular and may potentially be disliked…

While knowing that just because you are a wildflower does not mean everyone will like wildflowers, and that’s okay.

That’s the truth of life and it’s the nature of consciousness.

Your only job is to find out the type of wildflower that you are. And let your business be a natural unfolding of your true wildflower Self.

When you do that, your business blooms as an extension of your own inner fullness.

On psychic abilities

Back when I used to give more psychic readings on Facebook, one thing I felt icky around was how much my ego (the personal me) would be pedestalized

Because the readings were so spot on, women who came into my world were absolutely enamored with them (and me); and of course, I love serving you all

However, it didn’t quite feel right to be seen as THE psychic.

I did not want to be pedestalized as this special-guru someone with magical abilities

Yes, I did a tonnnneee of work on practicing and honing the craft. However, the truth is…

You too have psychic abilities. You are also psychic. For it is the true nature of the feminine being.

Yes, having my clients only rely on my intuition for their life/business guidance would make me more money over time

(because I would keep them around for longer), but it would not feel good in my heart.

Which is why the work I do with my clients is centered on turning to your own intuition, so you can create a life of ease, peace, and fulfillment in your own terms,

without feeling like you need someone else to guide you for the rest of your life

Which is also why I have written an all-comprehensive article on:

𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒑𝒔𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒄 𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒅𝒐𝒎

Because once you tap into your own inner psychic, your life changes on a whole new level.

Such as, having a deep inner knowing of your own unique business strategy, without sacrificing authenticity and wholeness for success.

Or knowing whether you’re in a right relationship or not, etc.

It’s like having your own billion-dollar coach inside of you.

Heart-led content creation

Most people create content from churning out content merely to hook and grab attention and get clients

But to sensitive feminine souls, content creation has to be intimate journey of deepening into our hearts

Because otherwise, you will find it hard to stay consistent and even if you try staying consistent, it will feel like a frantic hustle of striving to get clients, disconnected to your body (and bliss within)

And to deepen into your heart during the content creation process, 3 main principles are key for it

awareness to your feelings.

Everytime you create content, it has to come from what you’re feeling most deeply because if not, you will overthink on your content and latch onto how people will perceive you

Having an intimate personal experience with what you are talking about

A feminine being won’t feel embodied/ in integrity enough if the information you’re speaking is from a course/ another coach.

Rather, the information has to come in from your own realest personal experiences and your inner depths to really convey the depth of your power

Awareness of the person you’re creating content for

If you’re creating content just for likes/ please people on social media, your content will be seen BUT neither your dearest potential clients (nor your own heart) will feel seen and connected.

This is the reason why for a feminine heart-led being, knowing the exact soul you’re creating for and speaking to him/her and not others, is so essential

Only when these 3 are in place, then content creation becomes a sacred experience

Not only you experience joy when you do get (your most ideal) clients, the process of content creation becomes a divinely nourishing experience on a daily basis as well.

Content that helps your people feel seen

People want to be understood.

This is the reason why we desire love, get into relationships, and do things that are greater than ourselves.

And it is one of the deepest desires of your customers too.

However, what we’ve been taught in a lot of traditional coach marketing paradigms is to put ourselves on a higher ground/pedestal than the audience.

Which can look like showing off why you are “ahead” of them and pointing out why they are behind.

This method DOES work. Because it “activates” our minds to make the purchase from the desire of wanting more…

However, it may not mean that the desire of the purchase comes from the heart (I.e. the longing of the heart to be seen, heard, and understood)

and if you are a someone like me, who is has a DEEP heart,

You will not be fulfilled when people only buy your programs just because their minds wants to get to their material+external life desires,

You will only be fulfilled when people buy because they experience a sacred connection with you— the kind that is rare, wholesome, and intimate

And that comes down to HOW you market—I.e. whether the way you market comes from your heart or not.

Marketing in a way that honors your people. understands your people. And sees your people. Like no one else does.

Quantum leaps and sustainability

If you desire to build a business that will be gentle for your soul for years and years to come, you have to build it differently from a business that only strives to quantum leap next month

This is the lesson that I’ve learned recently:

that just because someone builds a business fast, doesn’t mean that it will last.

In fact, if we try to build something fast, it’s also easy to overlook the key pillars of a sustainable business—

such as how integrity you feel in your marketing, how fully authentic you are able to express yourself, how much ease you have in your day etc.

Instead a business can become a vehicle just to rake in maximum profits in the short run,

without consideration of its long term impact, like a fast fashion fashion industry

In term of a coaching business, the same principles apply:

For example,

If you only try to squeeze out profits with the current audience and pitch all the time without giving much value up front,

You will hit your income goals in the short-run, sure,

However, in the long-run you will burn out your audience,

and can even lead to disappointed customers (if you didn’t take time building the value in the back-end but instead only focus on selling in the front-end)

~

Which is why, as a soulful feminine being, it’s important to stick to the vision of how you want your business to be for years to come

Rather than being distracted by the shiny objects of how to make quick bucks next month

For you want to build a castle that lasts,

And not a sandcastle that you can build fast.

The need to show off your success on social media

As a soft-hearted feminine soul in business, you may have felt the pressure to show off your numbers (show off what you have achieved/manifested) to succeed in business

As in writing claims like “How I made x$ in y months,” etc.

To be regarded as someone who can be a mentor and win the likings of your potential clients

Yet what I have learned is that, when you use your titles and achievements as the only way to “prove” to your audience, it’s easy to also feel inadequate and unsatisfied

as in thinking “if only I achieve more, I can attract more clients/ people will take me more seriously”

It’s easy to start relying on these external achievements (such as your lifestyle/ your wins) outside of you to be confident in your work and your abilities to lead

This not only creates imposter syndrome around your business but also feeds into the paradigm of needing to overhype yourself to sell your work

Which can feel disingenuous and inauthentic to your heart, especially if you just want to help others simply by being who you are

~

Instead what I’ve learned is that for compassionate, soft-hearted feminine beings like you,

It’s important to lead with your heart instead of your titles

Because it is where your zone of genius (within marketing) lies

That means sharing

-your values,

-your wisdom,

-your perspectives

-and your truths that have been most impactful to you

Generously and abundantly through your content. Without holding back your “secret sauce”

Unlike the traditional marketing approach of putting yourself on a pedastal with big claims and numbers

Not only this way of marketing creates deeper trust and resonance with your audience,

the clients you call in also become the type of people who are drawn to you because of You (your deeper values) rather than only because of your external achievements

Which is an essential piece of letting your deep, feminine heart thrive in business.

On being a sensitive soul in business

If you’re a highly sensitive soul, you may have been taught certain copywriting strategies that make , yet, you don’t feel good using them

You may have been told by your coach to just “suck it up” and “do what it takes”, but still a part of may be quietly cringing underneath

And even when you use them and get clients, it still won’t feel quite right.

Your body may tighten up and a part of you may be on edge everytime you write a copy— questioning yourself multiple times whether you speak “the right way or not.”

And even if you grow your business to 6 or 7 figures, you still feel some ickiness and force when it comes to copywriting

To that, I want to tell you that you’re not wrong. Because I’m highly sensitive like you myself.

And what I’ve learned is that

all of that happens because a lot of marketing strategies that we’ve been taught are designed to work by triggering internal scarcity/ fomo,

Making the potential clients feel like they are missing out on the “secret recipe” to success unless they pay big money

This is especially true when on social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook, people only share their wins/highlight reels but with little in-depth educational content

While that makes sense to make profit asap as a business owner,

To a sensitive/intuitive soul like you and me, it won’t feel right.

Because you can sense the subtle energies that other people normally can’t.

You can sense the subtle differences in language, tone, texture when it comes to writing that other people normally can’t.

So that means when your copywriting triggers fomo/scarcity among people, you will also fear the emotion you induce to your audience.

You are able feel with your audience— and this to connect even more deeply your potential clients.

That is your superpower.

Yet, when you are told to ignore those feelings you have and just write in a way that makes people buy,

It can feel like a sacrifice to who you are— your heart.

I have a lot to say around this topic but if you find yourself there,

My message to you is: your emotions are telling you the best way of marketing for you in a way that works best for you

others will not get it

But you’re here to lead a different way, calling in your soul-aligned clients

through connection, Not extraction

For that’s how you build a business that’s not just rich externally, but also internally.
